Wizard of OZ

This was our very first show, performed by a 80% of the cast that had never been on-stage.  We took a huge gamble in first of all, performing a large script thinking that everyone knows the song in this show.  Wrong, as the script does contain songs that were never featured in the film version.  In fact there is a scene called the Jitterbugs.  This scene was deleted in the MGM film but Dorothy actually referred to the Jitterbugs in an earlier scene.  Probably one of the original film Bloopers.  All in all the show went well, and the proof is we are still around in our 8th plus year.  The pictures for this show are not a good as our other shows as I believe they were taken off a video taken of the show by one of our members.
