The was our very first Pantomime.  We had only formed Starlight earlier in the year, and had found that venues to perform were either unsuitable or very expensive to hire.  How could we try and cut costs without the production suffering.  Solution was that one of our members had a friend who had just started to write Pantomimes and we were the first to Iron out the script to coin a phrase.  We done this and the result, a superb show with a good review and at a cost to suit our budget.  The Show was performed at Southend High School for Girls in the original school hall.  Some years later a fire took hold and destroyed some of the hall, and it has since been rebuilt.
