Why Starlight Production’s?
The name, catchy, sounds professional, and hopefully is a good luck omen for the group, although I don’t think we need it. The aim of the group was to put on a variety of shows, musicals, drama and Pantomime, for all age groups throughout the year, and at the same time, having fun, making new friends and enjoying ourselves in the process. We are also aim for a very high standard for the group, and one with which we will all be proud of. We have already in this short space of time achieved all of our objectives, the first, A Murder Mystery" evening and our first show September 2004, the " Wizard of Oz".Our second show was a Pantomime "Dick Whittington and his amazing (Talking) Cat" and our second family summer production was a family comedy " ROBIN HOOD, the true story?" Our second traditional Pantomime Cinderella took place in Feb 2006 again followed in September with Robinson Crusoe at the NEW EMPIRE THEATRE. In 2007 we are already in the process of planning our summer show the Wizard of Woz, and another 2008 Pantomime in December. So as you can see, we love doing what we love to do.
